Boobs Do Breast Study

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

New study claims nursing doesn't cause sagging.

"Expectant mothers should be reassured that breastfeeding does not appear to have an adverse effect upon breast appearance," University of Kentucky plastic surgeon Dr. Brian Rinker told Web MD.  For study's specifics, click here.

Listen, Rinker - we've got several pairs here in the Mom•Logic office that say you're full of it. Wanna see?

Mine changed with pregnancy. They got softer and they sit a little lower. Other than that, they got bigger after I gave birth and stopped nursing. Insane!

My breasts went up about 2 sizes with both pregnancies. I am still breastfeeding my second son, but after I stopped breastfeeding the 1st son, my breast shrunk 3 sizes! I was smaller than before I got pregnant! And they were no longer firm, they were like empty balloons until I got pregnant again. I didn’t like looking at them and I didn’t want my husband touching them either.
