Keep Kids Out, Even Ours

Theaters finally get it - keep children, even ours, out of our grownup movies!
A growing number of movie theaters, trying to catch the attention of
adult movie-goers, are banning little ones who aren't with their
parents or even excluding them from late-night showings, according to a
USA Today report. Don't get us wrong, we adore our children. But don't
we deserve two hours away once in a while? Kerasotes Theatres agrees -
they're testing "adult-friendly" movies at 13 of its 95 locations. To
which we say... why isn't there a Kerasotes Theater near us??
And get this - two theaters in a Chicago suburb require patrons 17 and younger to attend a short "code of conduct" class on decorum before they can see movies at 8:30 p.m. or later without parents. Sweet! We know a few kids who could benefit from that class. (Not ours, of course.)
