Anti-Obesity Drug Linked To Depression & Suicidal Thoughts

Patients taking the anti-obesity drug, Acomplia, have more than double the risk of depression and anxiety, according to findings published in the Lancet journal. A study in the British Medical Journal also found that people taking anti-obesity drugs, including Acomplia, would only see “modest” weight loss, while many patients would remain significantly obese or overweight.
