Autopsy On Kanye West's Mom Inconclusive
An autopsy conducted on hip-hop superstar Kanye West's mother, Donda West, who died Saturday in her home, was inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner said Tuesday. Preliminary reports indicated that West, 58, may have died due to complications from cosmetic surgery. Dr. Jan Adams, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, said he performed a tummy tuck and breast reduction on West Friday. Prior to West's death, Adams was facing an investigation stemming from a drunk-driving conviction that could have led to the loss of his California medical license. Court papers also show that in 2002, an ex-girlfriend took out a restraining order on Adams. The funeral for Donda West has been scheduled for Nov. 20, a representative for Kanye West said.
