Celebrity Crib Notes

Newsworthy nuggets from Tinseltown.
Don't Call Me Mom. According to Perez Hilton,
Nicole Kidman told UK's GMTV, “My kids don’t call me Mommy, they don’t
even call me Mom. They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off
for it." Better to be called Nicole than that actress from Bewitched.
Drea has Baby. Sopranos star Drea de Matteo had a little girl last night according to Eonline. She and boyfriend Shooter Jennings welcomed Gypsy Rose last night. Everything's coming up Roses!
Suri is Fashion Savvy. Ok Magazine reports that little Suri has a pair of custom-made Christian Louboutin shoes worth $2,500 on their way. For that price, they should also be able to revive her Mommy's career. How much would you spend on a pair of shoes for your child? Comment below.![]()
I personally love to yard sale I am addicted to finding a good deal. The most I have spent for my sons shoes new is $15.00. For a two year old I would not spend much more than that.
Perez Hilton is wrong about the Nicole Kidman story - I heard the interview. She said they don’t call her “Mummy”, they call her “Mum”. Or sometimes “Nicole” to which she answers Hey!!!” - as if to say “don’t call me that, I’m your mother.” So they DO call her Mum. So many things reported wrong…
Hi Tyra I enjoy your shows in Nassau Bahamas
I spent $60 for two pairs of Bobux and felt guilty.
I am a mother of one almost three year old. I have never spent more than $25 for a pair of good shoes—I spend more on tennis shoes to have good structure and support for running. I shop at a Stride Rite outlet store to minimize the cost because they outgrow them so fast. Remember, though, with Daddy Tom Cruise’s income (even if Mommy’s career has been slow lately) $2,500 to them is far less than even $25 is to families like ours!

I wouldn’t pay more than 20 dollars, of course, every pair we have has been given to us.
