A Bremerton, Washington, mother was shocked and outraged to learn that her son had been put in the trunk of a car by the woman who ran the daycare center she used. The boy's mother, Linda Hopper, notified police after she heard Linda Clarke, owner of Grandma Linda’s Home Daycare, talking about what she had done. Clarke told investigators that she put the boy in the trunk and drove about a third of a mile before letting him out, because he nearly slammed the car door on her hand when she tried to get him into a car seat. Clarke's daycare-operator's license has been temporarily suspended; she may face criminal charges. For more, click here.
