Update: Peterson's Stepbrother Attempted Suicide
Reports say Drew Peterson's stepbrother told a friend he fears he may have unknowingly transported Stacy Peterson’s body when he helped move a blue barrel that was warm to the touch from Peterson’s bedroom into an SUV. Two days later, he was hospitalized for an alleged suicide attempt.

Standing = Weight Loss
Standing up may be just as important as exercising at the gym when it comes to weight loss, according to a new study by University of Missouri scientists. Researchers believe our nation is so overweight because we “sit” too much, and sitting causes the enzymes responsible for burning fat to shut down. The solution, they say, is to stand up and keep your muscles moving.

Republican ‘YouTube’ Debate Tonight
The Republican candidates for president will square off, answering questions submitted by constituents via YouTube tonight in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Democrats had their turn answering the surprise questions from voters in July. It is not known if previous debate favorites, “Billiam the Snowman” or the “Red State Update” duo, will make an encore appearance. CNN received more than 5,000 videos and narrowed the questions down to 40 that will cover a diverse range of issues. The CNN/YouTube Republican debate airs at 8 p.m. EST on CNN tonight.

Holiday Hazards to Avoid
Holiday decorations are fun and festive, but they can also be hazardous. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates there are more than 14,000 candle-related fires each year, including about 200 fires due to dried-out Christmas trees, and nearly 10,000 people treated in hospital emergency rooms as a result of injuries related to holiday decorating.
