Nicole Richie celebrated Mommyhood with a Wizard of Oz-themed extravaganza.
As we reported yesterday, Nicole Richie celebrated her baby on the way this weekend at an Oz-themed bash at The Beverly Hilton hotel, organized by celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss. Although The Simple Life star asked guests to bring their favorite children’s book to help build a library instead of splurging on fancy presents, several guests gifted Richie with cool finds from NoMi Boutique in Los Angeles. I love that she did a Wizard of Oz theme. What was the theme of YOUR baby shower, Moms? Mine was “Pea in a Pod.” I just threw a shower for my friend having twins and the theme was “Double Happiness” (Asian theme).

I think it’s great that she asked for books, instead of clothes or useless room accessories like Christina Aguilera asked for!
We didn’t really have a theme for my baby shower… I was having a boy, and his nursery theme was dinosaurs so I got a lot of dino things.
