Parents plan to avoid Chinese-made toys this holiday season.

What can we learn from these seemingly endless toy recalls?

Well, at least that’s the opinion of most parents nationwide.

According to a Harris Interactive poll, nearly half of all American shoppers will avoid toys with the “Made in China” label this holiday season, thanks to massive recalls of flawed and lead-tainted toys. But, since 80% of them begin their lead-laden lives there, parents will be hard-pressed to find toys NOT made in China.

And you can bet, for retailers, this news is going to go over like a lead balloon.
