SAHM with Nanny = Evil?

Nicole at Silicon Valley Moms Blog dishes about the furor that broke out online when a mom posted about firing her nanny: "So (let me get this right), she has GOT to be an entitled be-yatch, who probably steps all over the other mommies in her designer shoes while trying to dash out of her chauffeur-driven car and get some designer cream for the baby. Or something like that. Do I have it right? In short: Stay at home mom with a nanny = terrible, nasty person who must be badmouthed and shunned by other women." We're gonna check this out just to see what all the fuss is about!

In other blog news...

• Just in time for the ho-ho-holidays, there's a new toy called the Fuzz Luv. Mom Finds calls it "a hot pink, furry one-footed interactive 'pet' that responds to touch. Cuddle the Fuzz Luv and it opens its eyes, and then it grows ears and holds out its arms for a hug. And if you keep paying attention to the Fuzz Luv, it will grow twice its size and trill and dance for you." As if that weren't enough...it gets even better: "Treat your Fuzz Luv right and it will eventually have a baby Fuzzy, or maybe twins!" Freaky, but strangely compelling!

Eco Mom recommends gift cards that are made of elephant dung. We love that she's environmentally friendly, but that's just a tad on the gross side for us. You?
