Tyra goes undercover to stop girls from making a deadly mistake.

Every night, young, single girls hit the town to meet young, single guys. But you won't believe what happens next. Tyra Banks blows the lid off the single nightlife with an episode she calls "Dating Undercover."

Security expert Robert Siciliano offers five tips that could save a young girl's life.

1. Take a picture. A quick cell-phone photo sent to a friend tells the guy: someone knows where you are.

2. Arm yourself. Carry a personal security product like pepper spray, or even a ballpoint pen, which can do damage to the eyes and the groin.
3. Don't take a drink from anyone but the bartender. Be aware of where your drink is coming from and what's in it.
4. Use the buddy system. There’s strength in numbers.
5. Use your head. Your brain is your best defense and common sense is key.

“It’s important to think of every man as a creep”, says Tyra. (I get it. This is a piece about personal safety. But…) Be cautious with personal information. Be aware of your surroundings and the potential for harm. But don’t get in the habit of thinking of all men as creeps. Or all the men you meet… will be.

So Scary! My daughter adores Tyra and I am going to make sure she sees this video for sure. It’s amazing how foolish we can be as woman with our safety and our trust all in the name of not upsetting a guy….all I can say is good job Tyra! Thanks for posting this!
