Oh, no! I LOVED my wipes warmer, and that, along with a Boppy, are my two traditional shower gifts. When my boys were babies, the wipe warmer allowed me to change their diapers in the middle of the night without them waking up fully and screaming. If I used a (COLD!) room-temperature wipe, they would definitely wake up! Who wants a cold wipe on the tushie?

It not worth the money for a bottle sterilizer, a bottle brush works fine. I don’t have a dishwasher and I have managed to wash all my bottles. And as for the wipe warmer, the baby wipe is on their bottoms for 2 seconds and by then your hand and their body heat already makes the wipe warm. So unless you always use a warmed up wipe (at home and while traveling) they will get used to cold wipes!

my favorite gifts to give are the ‘noggin nest’ from boppy, because I don’t like to see flat headed babies, and the JJ Cole Bundle Me, comes in lite, or heavy weight.

NO WAY!! I LOVE my wipes warmer and have used it EVERYDAY for the past year!!! The light on it makes it possible to see what I’m doing without turning on the bright room lights. I also loved getting little shoes, no they aren’t pratical, but fun! I mean how many boring onesies and blankets can you get!!??
