When Dr. Jan Adams failed to show for a hearing today, an L.A. Court Superior Judge issued a warrant for his arrest, according to TMZ.

The hearing concerned Adam's former patient, Lori Ufondu, who won a more than $100,000 settlement because Adams left a sponge in her body during surgery. Ufondu's lawyer told TMZ that Adams hasn't paid.
