Jenna Bush calls her parents on today's Ellen.
We all know how important it is to call our parents, especially during the holidays. Most of us do our best to remember this task in fear of an unneeded guilt trip from our mothers. Not only did Jenna call Mom and Dad, AKA First Lady Laura Bush and The President of the Free World, George W. Bush, she did it as a surprise live on air!

I hardly doubt anyone was trying to deflect attention from anything. First off, it was Ellen’s idea to call them, and I highly doubt Ellen is a such a die-hard Republican that she would use her show to do something like that. Also, Jenna was there to promote her book, and bring attention to UNICEF, not getting involved in some political conspiracy that crazy liberals love to cook up. So stop being ignorant, and see something for what it was… a funny moment between a father and daughter… and Ellen.
