it does’nt matter if she is pregnant or not i had my little girl at a early age and i would’nt want it any other way. And just because she is pregnant does’nt mean she still cant have her job on zoey 101!!!

This is a total shock to me. I thought she was going to be the better of the two, I do still like Britney no matter how much anyone bashes her.. although she does tend to do some stupid things.. And I must say I am sorta jealous because I am 16 as well, and I just went through a miscarriage.. it was the worst thing anyone can imagine.. I have wanted a baby for so long and then I finally got pregnant and everything went down the drain. I hope that baby lives and has a happy life! I am just so glad she didnt decide to go through with an abortion!

HOnestly, people do make mistakes and i think Jamie realizes what she has done. People have to realize that mistakes do happen and they happen to everyone. If you don’t personally know a person why put them down? I am very happy that she didn’t decide to go with an abortion, becasue i totally don’t support that. Jamie seems really sweet and loving. She seems like she will be a good mother and isn’t that all that really matters, especially for the baby?

Melinda - why are in such a rush to have a baby? Being a mom isn’t fun or cool… it’s hard work and it takes maturity to be a good mom. And I’m sorry to say it, but at 16 years old, you do not have the emotional maturity needed. Not to mention, most 16 year olds are still in high school. You cannot give a child the life he deserves if you don’t have an education or at least a good job. At 16 years old, I was working full-time, living in my own apartment, and was graduating high school 2 years early. And I definitely wasn’t mature enough for a baby. I wish kids would stop trying to rush their lives and just enjoy their adolescence while they still can.

it should be nobodys business what she wants to do. i can’t believe how much all the negative people out there hunger and strive to find something to say about someone else when i am sure most of you or a good portion of you have had a pregnant daughter, friend, or neice, that you have stuck by. just because someone; a young television star is 16 and expecting gives you people no right to say ignorant, hurtful, and cowardly things because you all have nothing better to do or you are just ashamed of your own friend or kin. GROW UP!!!! Jamie best of luck to you!

wow!! i think that she shouldnt be on Zoey 101 anymore because she would be a bad influence to young kids that watch the show. i really thought she was going to be the better sister. its still hard for me to believe that she is pregnant. nothing left to say..

Theres should be nothing negative to say about jamie having a baby at sixteen except yes it is young, but the positive thing to say is well done your taking your responsibilities for the actions you committed. She is young but one thing i hope is they don’t get married before they are ready and don’t let hateful poeple and the media pressure them into getting married when they are not ready for the marriage will be a disaster. Just be a better mom then what the media is showing brittany to be

To “H”, whoever you are, you say that we should not judge people we don’t know, and you also say that Jamie Lynn has “sweet” personality…how exactly do you know that if you don’t know her? Just cuz she acts the sweet teen girl part on Zoe 101 does not mean that she is the same in real life…CLEARLY this was proven by the fact that she is pregnant even though on the show she is afraid to tell her crush she likes him or whatever…she crossed that line a LOONG time ago!

I am a 16 year old mother. I got pregnant at 14 and had my daughter at 15. I don’t believe in abortion and I couldn’t even think about giving her up. I planned to have my daughter. I almost died the year before and that was what I wanted to do before i died so I did. It is becoming a huge thing to deal with. I just recently wrote an article on teen pregnancy statistics for my school paper. Don’t worry I didn’t take a side I just presented the facts. It was hurtful. I’m still in school and I’m going off to college at UTSA to become a pediatrician. I have a job as a parttime cashier at walmart making 7.17 an hour which is pretty good for someone who has never worked before. I am sick of hearing people put her down. Yeah she was a role model for people and yeah she’s in the spotlight but that shouldn’t matter. I give her credit for keeping the baby. My daughter is a healthy one year old. She is so happy and always smiling. Jamie will be a better mother than britney. She has a better head on her shoulders than her sis. All I have to say is good luck! And stop putting her down. She’s already going to have a hard enough time dealing with the press. Give her a break!

Jamie lynn-pregnant at 16? i wish her luck even though i still wish she could’ve thought to maybe wait a year or better yet 2 years. I maybe young myself but I think my opinion still counts. yes, a teens world is full of more obsticals than you can imagine and imagine further to be a celebrity and furthermore be the sister of the world wide celebrity who is the one and only britney spears. THAT people is already not to awfull good. Now she has the possibilyity of losing her job, and being riddiculed into insanity. if people would just cut her a break and try to encourage her, maybe she will not follow in her sisters footsteps. being riddiculed by many people does things to a person and puts them down. then, in the case of 16yr old jamie, she might turn out like britney did. if you people, yes YOU people would just give her some love, she may just still have a chance.jamie has a good head on those shoulders, and she will be a good mother regardless. -and taking her show off the air? pshh! it’s already been recorded, so why waste money? all i can say is that if you don’t want your child seeing it, then just hit the off button. personally, i would watch it because three months is only just beginning to really see the effect that she’s pregnant. she’ll just look a little bit larger than what she did. Jamie, best of luck to you and your child. and best of luck with the press and your life.

parents, the only role model that your children should have is YOU!!!!!!!! stop looking to these celebrities to be role models to your children.even if jamie lynn spears didn’t become pregnant, there are still teenagers becoming pregnant.get a grip, she is a regular person too, going through ups and downs like everybody else.we as parents need to sit our children down and talk to them about sex and how to protect themselves from std’s and pregnancy at a younger age.my 8 and 10 year old daughters are already asking me about where babies come from and i am very straight to the point when i tell them.i feel that jamie did the right thing in keeping the baby on the basis that i don’t believe in abortion.nickolodeon, don’t cancel the show.this experience can be used for PARENTS to start talking to their children about sex, instead of using the tv to do it for them.

I completely agree, Jamie lynn is just a regular teenager. Cancelling the show would be a mistake. I couldnt have put it better myself tawanna!

one more thing. After actually reading all the comments…do people really mean what they say on here or just type to see that they said something?? Calling Lynn Spears a bad mother..show me a perfect mother, you cant! Plus Brits problems started after the age of 20…this is lynn’s fault?? You can try to raise your kids the best you can but when they become adults they make their own decisions, at least they should. I feel sorry for Brit but dont see how Lynn is to blame for everthing that has happened. As for Jamie Lynn..Yes they portray her as a good clean cut girl on zoey 101. Parents act like its an awful burdon her being pregnant, they actually have to talk to their kids…oohh my gosh. Shouldn’t you already be talking to your kids about things like this. Maybe if more parents talked to their kids in their pre-teen years, teen pregnancy might actually go down. You cant sit your child in front of a TV and lead them to believe zoey is perfect, they should realize NOBODY is perfect. Even good girls can get in trouble. It’s going to be hard for Jamie Lynn but i wish her the best. As for cancelling zoey lol…I think that would be a very big mistake on nickalodeons part. I know the age is supposively 8-12 yrs old for this show. I have 7 kids ages 6-16 that love the show. Keeping zoey 101 going would be the best thing.

Okay i think everyone needs to layoff the mom it is not her falt she may be a bad mom for letting her girls in the media but that is the problum with jamie lynn and britney the media! NOT THE MOM!
