Momlogic's by Jackie: Giftcards at the grocery checkout have changed my life.

I was having a very typical Mom morning... I broke a sweat trying to get the kids to school, make it to work on time for an a.m. meeting, and somehow put a little mascara on so I didn't look as tired as I felt. I had a full day ahead of me, and with my husband working late these days, there's not even a minute in my evening to head out and accomplish all I have to do for the holidays. I was driving the kids when suddenly I was hit in the face with what felt like a fist--teacher gifts! OMG, I hadn't gotten gifts for my boys' preschool teachers. What was I going to do now? After tomorrow, the school was closed for almost three weeks. I pretty much had 10 minutes to figure out what to do and actually get it done!

I wiped a tear of frustration from my face and buried my head in my hands (while at a red light, of course). When the light turned green, l looked up, and there it was like a sign from above--Pavillions. Pavillions is a grocery store here in southern California. I'm sure you have something similar where you live. The name may be different, but what's the same is that they sell gift cards!

Whether you need Macy's, Bloomingdales, iTunes or Best Buy--you can now get them all at many grocery store and pharmacy chains. With all the gifting Moms have to do these days, this is the most brilliant thing ever done to help us through the holidays.

If I could kiss Pavillions on the mouth--I would.

Nice information. Good to read. I have a opinion to give about tee shirts.
