Use their day off to your advantage. All Mom-tested, Mom•Logic approved.

1. Don't fight it!
Throw on the snowsuit and make some angels with the kids. Research has shown that kids who exhaust themselves by playing in the snow tend to go to bed much more easily.

2. Get cooking!
Embrace the mess, and let the kids help out in the kitchen. It's the perfect opportunity to cook several meals and freeze some for later.

3. Camp Out In!
The Frontier Indoor/Outdoor Tee Pee is the coolest thing. It's a blank tee pee that kids can paint themselves. Perfect for wearing them out before a snow day nap.

4. Wrap it Up!
Wrapping presents can be tiresome. And why is the cool wrapping paper always so expensive? Why not have the kids make festive creations and let them cover the gifts? And if you give them the Scotch Pop-up Giftwrap Tape Dispenser, they'll be happy to help!

5. Put them to work!
"Make believe" they're going to work, and let them make money for doing little chores around the house. It'll cost you a few bucks, but tasks getting done (with a smile) is priceless.
