1 + 1 = Insanity

When you go from having one kid to two, is it like having 10?
Does the news of Gwen Stefani's pregnancy make you reminisce about the good 'ol days with "just one"? Because, honestly: What's more exhausting than that first baby? Having the second while the first is still little! Jack Black recently summed it up to People magazine when he announced that he and his wife are expecting number two. "I've been told that two children are three times as hard as one child, but then strangely three children are easier than one!"
While Moms with one may guess two is twice as hard, Moms in the know
say it's more like, hmmm, 100 times harder. Try balancing a
baby's two-nap-a-day schedule with a toddler who needs a nap in between
those. And the every-two-to-three-hour feedings when you're trying to
get a preschooler out the door--forget about it! (Luckily, there are books to help you out here).

After I had my oldest daughter I was able to get both of us properly showered, dressed, feed, packed, and out the door in 45 min tops. Yes, there were those few times when my plan didnt work, but generally we had it down. When my oldest was just under 3 yrs old, I gave birth to a baby girl. I thought that since I was so good about time with my oldest that we could only get better, I was wrong. I now have to wake up 2 hrs earlier, make sure both bags are packed with diapers, wipes, clothes, medicines and alot mroe stuff. Having 2 kids to me is like having 10, I am not sure how my mom managed to do it with 5 kids, when I am still managing 2.
