Boy Scouts find merit in dealing with bullies.

Being a Boy Scout is more than just knowing how to tie knots and learning about campfire safely, now it’s also about dealing with bullying. According to an AP report, it’s taken the Boys Scouts of America almost 100 years to recognize that one key survival skill is keeping that bully from trying to shove you into your locker. We applaud the Boy Scouts for recognizing the importance of kids sticking up for themselves, and we were super-impressed when we saw the list of other badges a Boy Scout can earn—everything from Rabbit Raising to Atomic Energy.

Since the Boys Scouts are updating their requirements, we have a couple of ideas that we'd like to add to their merit badge list:

	The Facebook Badge How to earn it: Log at least 700,000 hours on the computer -- most boys far exceed the requirement. Do the following: Try to explain to at least one adult why Facebook is so cool. Ignore all calls to dinner.
	Guitar Hero Badge How to earn it: Conquer Muse’s Knights of Cydonia on Medium. Do the following: Try to convince your mom to play when she’s trying to get some work done.
	Movie Mayhem Badge How to earn it: Disrupt at least 5 PG-13 movies. Do the following: Laugh at inappropriate times Climb over seats like a monkey Crinkle candy wrappers Text message with keypad volume turned up on high
