Sextuplet Scam Delivers "Mom" to Jail

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Woman who bragged of bogus births will finally serve her time.

Some women dream about having babies, some just lie about it. In
2006, preying on the generosity of others, a Grain Valley, Missouri
couple falsely claimed the wife had given birth to sextuplets—quite a
feat for Sarah  Everson, 46 at the time of "delivery." The town
showered them with gifts and cash, totaling almost $4,000. Last month,
Sarah was arrested for violating her parole and will serve four years
in prison—her husband, Kris Everson, is already serving time. So... did
they put bonnets on puppies when the reporters came over or what? No. They
held up six onesies and claimed the infants were in intensive care and
couldn't be photographed. Do you think a four year sentence is enough for her crime?
