The harsh realities of teen sex make a guest appearance in the celebrity world.

In Touch Weekly is
reporting that Jamie Lynn Spears has been dumped by her boyfriend,
Casey Aldridge. He's allegedly demanding she get a paternity test to
determine if he's the father.



If this is true, it really isn't so surprising: how often do we hear
about the guy leaving his pregnant teen g'friend? It's practically a
cliche. Sad as this must be for Jamie Lynn, it may in fact be the best
case scenario for Moms across the country as we have been struggling to
explain this seeming "fairy-tale" pregnancy that their tween daughter's
hero has been showing us. Now at least we can say, "Listen: it seems
like love but please know that even Jamie Lynn's boyfriend dumped her
when she got pregnant..." Yes it's  tough love but so is the harsh
reality that teen pregnancy usually does not have a fairy-tale ending.
