Mary J. Blige and Other Entertainers Named in Steroids Inquiry An investigation led by Albany, N.Y. District Attorney P. David Soares into doctors who illegally prescribe steroids and human growth hormones mentions stars such as Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Wyclef Jean and Tyler Perry. Witnesses in the investigation say that steroids are shipped to stars using pseudonyms. A spokesperson for Blige denies she has ever used performance-enhancing drugs, and no charges have yet been filed. John Edwards' Daughter Hit by Drunk Driver
Cate Edwards, daughter of Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards, was rear-ended by a reportedly drunk driver in Chapel Hill, N.C. Edwards said from the campaign trail that he spoke to his daughter and she is fine, and characterized the accident as "minor." We're happy she's okay, but every time we hear about an innocent person being hit by a drunk driver, our blood boils. Haven't these drunks heard of taking a cab?

Sexual Predators Reach Kids Through Cell Phones
Sexual predators have caught up to the 21st century. Experts say pedophiles use gadgets like cell phones to prep kids for sexual encounters. Police claim this was the case with Atlanta teacher Beth Ann Chester, who sent nude photos of herself via cell phone to the 14-year-old student she has admitted having sex with in the school's parking lot. We wish these predators would spend less time on kids' cells and more time in jail cells, where they belong! In related news, MySpace has reached a deal with 45 states to deter sexual predators from misusing the site. The site has agreed to take more protective measures against predators, including working on ways to verify ages of users.
