Spears showed up 90 minutes late for her scheduled deposition in her
custody case at her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s attorney's L.A.
office. The pop star, wearing a pink dress and heels, drove off in her
white Mercedes less than an hour later. She was expected to be
questioned about her past alcohol and drug use, apparent failure to
follow court orders, and other issues relating to her parenting skills.
Netflix: To Deliver Movies Directly To Your TV
Brace yourself! The world’s largest online movie rental service and LG
Electronics are teaming up to develop a set-top box for consumers to
stream movies and other programming from the Internet to HDTV,
bypassing the need to use a personal computer. The box, planned for
later this year, will be Internet-connected, and users will have access
to the same 6,000 movies and TV episodes currently available online.
Celebrity Mentalist Offers to Help Find Stacy Peterson
The Amazing Kreskin’s offer to help search for the 23-year-old missing
mother has been rejected. Illinois State Police trooper Mark Dorencz
confirmed Kreskin’s agent contacted law enforcement, but says, “At this
time, we won’t be granting any meeting with the Amazing Kreskin.”
Texas Town Apologizes for Banning Nursing Mother Painting
Lubbock, Texas is at the center of controversy after banning a painting
from a local art show. The artwork portraying a woman breastfeeding her
newborn by artist Lahib Jaddo, was removed from an exhibit held in a
city-owned building. According to City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld, the
building has a no nudes policy, but they’ve since decided not to place
restrictions on art exhibits.
