Last November, 48-year-old Grace gave birth to twins, Lucy Elizabeth and John David. Lucy weighed just over 2 pounds and John weighed just over 5 pounds at birth and both were hospitalized for an extended period due to their low birth weights. Nancy was released from the hospital before the twins only to return after developing two blood clots in her lungs. Women over 35 have a high risk of developing pulmonary embolisms.
