One Mom Begs: Please Google
Jackie's Mom•Logic: Before you send me a mass email, check your sources.

Amber Alerts are very important. They are crucial to finding children before time slips away. So when you send me a mass email about a "missing child" who's not only not actually missing but has been a hoax circulating the Internet for years, you're doing the real missing children a huge disservice. Did you know that before you click that forward button, you can actually Google the info in the email and, more times than not, Snopes or one of those "urban legend" sites will tell you if it's a hoax?
This also goes for the emails that you so helpfully send alerting me to the latest great government conspiracy or little gems from Andy Rooney. It would take you 10 extra seconds to check it out and find out if it's real before jamming my inbox. Just sayin'.
Let's use the Internet for good and not evil, shall we?
