PETA Encourages Teen Pregnancy

filed under: news

New PETA ad sure to create controversy.

In their new animal birth control campaign, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals use a very serious topic parents of teens are all too familiar with. Is this ad funny, or does it make light of a very serious issue in an inappropriate manner?

Just more proof that PeTA is one of the most irresponsible advocacy groups out there.

I think it’s hysterical - NO ONE talks to their kids that way, and PETA makes the point that it’s not a good idea for us to treat animals that way, either. Not that I’m a big fan of PETA, but the ad is edgy and funny.

I think this is an extremely funny and effective ad. To call PeTA “irresponsible” (at least for this ad) is to over react. They are just trying to get your attention. And it appears that they have.
