Should a profile of a teen Mom be allowed to run?

At Burleson High School in Texas, a yearbook staffer wrote about 17-year-old Brittani Shipman, a self-proclaimed "wild child" who has turned her life around since the birth of her daughter. The principal later pulled the article partly because he feared it "glamorized" teen pregnancy. "Glamorizing this situation, what is there to glamorize?" Brittani asked school board trustees. "It's hard work!" That's an understatement!

I was pregnant at 17 (I am now 42), but I think back now and realize that the only thing I would have changed is marrying his father. I can tell you that I am a success and went to college. I worked theIt was hard but I think it grounded me and made me a better person. Would I want anyone to go through it, NO! Was is hard, very much so.

Of course she should be featured! If anything her message would make teens think more of their sexual choices because motherhood is not an easy task. Glamorous? Yea right.
