Now that TV writers have returned to work, Moms ask: When do we get our shows back?
While we're addicted to reality shows, we're so happy the gang from Grey's Anatomy will be back on the air soon. But don't count on seeing fresh episodes of Grey's or Desperate Housewives or CSI next week. It will take writers weeks to write a script, and then it'll take a month or two to actually see it on television. Translation: You won't see your favorite comedies or dramas until at least April or May, and you're not going to see the typical 22 shows for the season--it'll be more like 14 or 15.
Thankfully, the networks are currently running new episodes of The New Adventures of Old Christine, Lipstick Jungle and Cashmere Mafia ... so it's not all bad news.
