Infant intelligence: Behavioral experiments indicate that infants as young as 4 1/2 months can detect changes in the number of objects around them. See, we knew our kids were geniuses.

Girls are taking over the world: Scientists have chalked up the growing worldwide shortage of boy births to levels of chemicals found in Moms that mimic female hormones, slowing testosterone production. Another reason to go green.

Baby steps in the right direction?: New research suggests that antibodies found in the blood of Moms may be a risk factor for autism. Study authors say that their findings should lead to more research as well as, hopefully, prenatal intervention.

“Scientists have chalked up the growing worldwide shortage of boy births to levels of chemicals found in Moms that mimic female hormones, slowing testosterone production.” This really makes no sense since it is the male that determines the sex of the child by passing either XX or XY chromosomes to the woman.

Benjamin, what’s happening is men’s testosterone levels are dropping which is making more females births. The problem is most evident in Nordic Countries and Arctic Indian tribes, where all the world’s pollution mostly surfaces. This issue has been accruing in frogs as well. Male frogs are spontaneously switching sexes, which is cause some species numbers drop to dangerous levels. The world is feminizing because of pollution.
