A parent reacts to third graders getting searched because of a missing $5 bill.
Yesterday, we posted Third Graders Searched at School about teachers emptying kids' pockets at an elementary school in Kentucky. Jay responds: "It is a shame to treat children as thieves. The teacher might have forgotten the money in the car, or maybe it fell out of her purse. That's why the children today feel they can't trust anyone. At home, the parents don't trust them, at school the teachers don't trust them, and of course in the street the police don't trust them. So when will the children get a break? And why keep the money in the view of the children? She wanted someone to take the money. Shame on the teacher!!!!"
