Helping kids take care of their teeth without kicking, screaming or ingesting their weight in toothpaste.
2. Act like a fool: One office Mom sings a silly but effective "I'm brushing, I'm brushing" jingle while doing a little dance.
3. Give 'em incentive: Make brushing a requirement before bedtime stories, or add a li'l scare tactic. A Mom we know tells her daughter that "you have to brush the sugar bugs off your teeth."
4. Let them keep track: Set a timer and challenge them to keep brushing til it goes off. Or, let your children keep track of their brushing habits by hanging a chart in the bathroom.
5. Mommy and Me time: Allow your kids to brush your teeth. Not only will they learn the importance of dental hygiene, they'll get to spend some quality time with you.
