Red Lips: We all know red was the color to wear when it came to dresses this year, but red lips are really what rocked the carpet. Matte lips in fantastic shades of red give a Mom confidence and attitude and kick up the glamour factor when heading out at night.

Code Orange!: George Clooney's lady, Sarah Larson, Kristin Chenoweth and Guilana Rancic (E!) all went a bit overboard with the spray tan. A more natural look, sported by Jennifer Garner and Cate Blanchett, is better in winter. Because what Mom wants her tan to be the first thing people notice?
