Some of us Moms want our due dates to fall on a special date, but it's usually not in our control--unless we're Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer Lopez is a woman who's used to getting her way. According to People,
she's thrilled the twins' due date is Feb.14. According to tabloid
rumors, she likes the V-Day theme, and the births will easily make the
deadline for weekly magazine covers.
So, what will Mama Jenny do if her babies pop on the very unromantic, inconvenient (not to mention, unlucky) Feb. 13? Hopefully, she has texted her twins on their Blackberries (we're sure they must have them) to let them know what's expected of them.
When you were pregnant, did you hope or plan for a specific due date? Why?

What a cool due date.
I have 4 natural kids (and some stepkids) and I never wished for a certain due date. The main thing I prayed for in regards to the birth was a healthy baby.

she’s due with twins in a few days and isn’t enormous? wonder if the actual due date is later…
I just wanted my son to be healthy. It is bizarre that someone bringing two children into the world would care about magazine due dates at that wondrous time.
GIVE HER A BREAK, SHE IS A FIRST TIME MOTHER. I REMEMBER MY FIRST CHILD WAS DUE MARCH 20TH. I WAS INDUCED ON MARCH 31ST AND JUST KEPT WISHING HE WOULD COME ON THAT DAY! EVERYONE AROUND ME WAS TELLING ME MY BABY WAS GOING TO BE A FOOL! LOOKING BACK I WAS VERY VULNERABLE AND SENSITIVE WITH IT BEING MY FIRST LABOR, AND NOT TO MENTION AT ANY TIME A BABY WAS COMING! I ENDED UP HAVING MY SON AT 9:35PM ON THE 31ST.
I was due September 10th, but went into labor September 11th in the afternoon. My son was born 14 minutes after midnight on the 12 h!
That’s a lot of nerve to use the name of a celebrity and question her medical need for a planned C-section delivery of twin babies, on the basis of your personal dislike. Surely a blog about pregnancy and family deserves to be moderated by someone who’s interested, able to separate fact from opinion, and willing to stay focused on the appropriate agenda.
