Michelle Obama -- Every Mom?
Political reporter, Mom Ronda Kaysen: Barack's wife shares her working Mom struggle with Larry King.
Michelle Obama appeared on Larry King Live earlier this week lamenting the woes of working moms. "It's hard being a mother--a working mother--in this society, period."
The Harvard and Princeton-educated hospital executive might have made $212,000 annual salary before quitting for the campaign trail, but she told Larry King her mom still does the lion's share of childcare. "She's with my girls right now," she told King.
The Obamas don't have a nanny, and Michelle often speaks about how fortunate she is to have "an informal support system." Having your own mom nearby to help shoulder the load sounds like a blessing and a curse, doesn't it?
Do you think Michelle's working Mom struggles make her relatable to Moms?
