Mom•Logic interviews a grandma who woke up from coma after being declared brain dead.
ML: What have you learned from this?
Rae: I would never ever miss an opportunity to say, "I love you" to my husband, daughter, son, or grandchildren. And I am so proud of them no matter what they're doing.
ML: Do you think you have a greater appreciation for life?
Rae: My husband and I have been married 46 years and he said he took me for granted. People often take others for granted, but I never have because I am a praying woman...I got very emotional one day when it finally dawned on me what I had just been through. I shed a few tears. That's when I realized how precious life was.
ML: What do you want to say to people who heard your story and prayed for you?
Rae: Thank you for your prayers and keep them coming! God is not done with me yet. I don't know what my mission is from God, but bet your bottom dollar that when I figure it out, I will follow it to the enth degree.
