One Mom, fed up with motherhood, decides to go on strike. Should other Moms join her?

| If motherhood was a job offered at an employment agency, there'd be few takers. Let see...be on call 24 hours a day, no healthcare benefits, no paid holidays or room for advancement. Apparently, last week, Melissa Dean, a mother of four unruly teenage boys, had enough of her job description and "went on strike." staying at home only one night a week and leaving her out-of-control boys to fend for themselves and has since been charged with neglect. Yeah, Motherhood is hard work, but is it really time to unionize? |
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

That Mom is just really irresponsible!
I feel her pain, I really do…when my parents left me alone at my house, all hell usually broke loose. Leaving them to “fend for themselves” is not the way to go about forcing her kids to change. Instead of hiding at her friends house, she should have had her friend come over to HER house for support! Read a book on discipline, get SOME kind of help, just don’t ignore the situation and hope it goes away.
Why have kids at all?
clearly this woman was at her wits end. I don’t agree with what she did, but they are not exactly babies. All of them are teens, and capable of making the right choices and being responsible. Shame on them, but also on her for not doing things differently.
