Colin Farrell speaks out about his son's illness: James Farrell, 4, was diagnosed with the rare neurological disease Angelman syndrome, which affects speech and motor skills. Colin credits early intervention for James' tremendous progress, and the proud father says his son is "a gift" and "exactly the way he should be."

Starbucks addicts won't get their afternoon fix: Starbucks locations across the country will close their doors for three hours today in order to re-train baristas. Dunkin' Donuts is not one to miss an opportunity, and is offering  99-cent cups o' Joe during that time. Is this Stabucks' way of showing who's boss? Meanies.

More women returning to work after pregnancy:
More expectant mothers are choosing to work through their last trimester and
return to work sooner after giving birth than pregnant women did in
the 1960s, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Let's be honest,
working an 8-hour-day can be a lot easier than dealing with a new baby.

Hi Ellen :
I was reading the info about Starbucks, closing today.I’am the Starbucks Manager in our local community. Most of our customers assumed we would be closing as well. This brings me to a point I wanted to make. We like many stores across the country are a Barnes and Noble @ a university (serving) Starbucks. There is a difference and we have to explain this over and over again to the various customers that walk through our doors. They were most pleased we did not have to close. As for me and my crew we are no meanies…. we pride ourselves on our Southern Hospitality, great product and service. Hey Ellen, you should take a trip to Va. check us out. Plus, I have a challenge for you,my staff can dance. We have the perfect coffee table in our seating area where I challenge you to a dance off with my staff. Up to it??? Bring it on!

Sincerely,
Kay Bondurant
