Crowded cribs can cause baby deaths: The Consumer Product Safety Commission says parents should avoid using soft bedding or lining cribs with a lot of pillows or stuffed animals to prevent unnecessary crib related deaths. The CPSC says babies should sleep on their backs, not face down, to avoid suffocation or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
