Moms Are Talking About...

Growing fears of a recession: President Bush said America is not slipping into a recession, but was unaware that gas prices will reach $4.00 this spring. Americans, on the other hand, are facing high-energy costs, an unstable market place, and rising prices at the grocery store.
Baby girl abandoned in the back of a taxi: NYC police are searching for the man and/or family who deliberately abandoned an adorable baby girl believed to be approximately six or seven months old. According to the cab driver, the man got out to use a pay phone, but never returned, leaving the baby in the back seat. The driver took the girl to a local firehouse and then to a nearby hospital where she was nicknamed "Lourdes."
Americans still not getting enough sleep: Another sleep study is out and according to the CDC, 50 to 70 million people aren't getting enough sleep at night. The Internet and that cup of coffee to get you through the day are apparently disrupting sleep patterns. Does waking up to a crying baby count?
