Is Your Kid Tripping on YouTube?

The new "legal" drug craze hits the Web.

In December, we told you about a drug teens are calling the new LSD. It's Salvia Divinorum, and it's legal in all but eight states. Today, it's being reported that teens are videotaping themselves tripping on Salvia, then putting it on YouTube. As of this morning, there were 2,890 Salvia videos posted there. Click here to check out one we found particularly disturbing.
The idea of teens taping themselves smoking this (legal or not) and then posting it on YouTube for all the world to see just freaks us out. How about you?

I had no idea about this! The scary thing is that with this being relatively new, we dont know what the adverse affects are of this. If it has the same effects as LCD does that mean it has the same side affects? What these kids dont understand is that if something makes you that out of it, or in that case out of it at all, there can be a posibility of brain damage as well as numerous other things. I know I experimented with a couple different drugs when I was younger so I’m not being a hypocrit, but I came out fine (thank god) but whose to say if everyone will. This is why its very important to talk to your kids about what drugs can do to them and paint a very scary picture about it. Hopefully they will just say no.
