Amazing toddler shows Today host Ann Curry she can decipher words and sentences.

How crazy is this? 17-month-old Elizabeth, who appeared live on the Today show this morning, proved she can actually read words and sentences she has never seen before. Elizabeth's parents, who are both speech pathologists, credit teaching Elizabeth sign language with helping her develop her uncanny reading abilities.

Teaching my children Sign Language as infants definitely influenced their early, amazing vocabularies. This is my daughter at 16 months with a signing/speaking vocabulary of over 200 words.

A formidable share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little bit evaluation on this. And he the truth is bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! However yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I really feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you grow to be experience, would you mind updating your weblog with more details? It’s extremely useful for me. Huge thumb up for this weblog submit!
