If uber-parents Angelia and Brad really did get married would it change our opinion of them?

Over the weekend, tabloid giant Star Magazine mistakenly reported Angelina and Brad had wed in New Orleans. It was BIG (and innaccurate) news. Why? Since we've already anointed these two the perfect couple why would it matter they officially exchanged vows?

If you're like most of us, there's no guiltier a pleasure than checking out what Zahara, Maddox, Shiloh and Pax are wearing, strolling in, or which far flung countries Brad and Angelina are visiting. We never seem to notice or care that they're not married. Is it because marriage doesn't matter anymore?
