Actor Dennis Quaid shares graphic details of his twins' fight for their lives.

Update:  TMZ has learned the state of California has fined Cedars-Sinai Medical Center $25,000 for giving overdoses of a blood thinner to three infants, including the newborn twins of actor Dennis Quaid.

On last night's 60 Minutes, Dennis Quaid for the first time shared the painful saga of his twin's medical ordeal. Last November, Quaid's twins were hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for treatment for a staph infection. They received a dangerous overdose of the blood-thinning drug Heparin and nearly died.
