Eddie and Spice Girl's daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, is less than a month away from turning 1, yet has never met her daddy.

Melanie B's representative lashed out at the actor's refusal to meet his daughter as rumors fly over the reason why. Eddie says he was tricked into getting Melanie pregnant because she lied about being on birth control. Rep. Gloria Allred told Page Six, "I think it's sad and inexcusable that Mr. Murphy chooses to punish his baby by

refusing to visit her or be involved emotionally or in person in her life. It's shocking that he continues to refuse to be involved with his daughter and that he has intentionally missed the precious first year of her innocent life."

Okay Eddie…even if she “lied” about taking birth control…weren’t you guys engaged anyway? This whole “she lied about birth control” is a sorry excuse at best and the point for Eddie and all other “boys” out there still remains:if you don’t want a child…take responsibility and suit up then!

Eddie Murphy is not innocent in this. She didn’t trick him into having sex with her, and everybody knows that event the pill isn’t foolproof. He needs to own up to his responsibility and love his daughter.

He’s a loser…the baby’s here and your her father (unfortunately). The drama between you and Mel B. is irrelevant here. You ARE the father…so man up and take care of your daughter, Period!

So why did she have the baby? (Money) will make a girl do all sorts of things, she did not have to get pregnant, she had a choice and her’s was Eddie’s money. Did she get any?

I think it is unfair to criticise Eddy Murphy. Apparently he made it clear he did not want a child and for her to go ahead and take the risk without his knowledge totally makes this her responsibility. Should he not see the child… I don’t know. I think it is a personal decision and maybe when the child is older and capable of comprhending who her dad is then he will meet her. At this point it is pointless because the baby will not remember and this may be yet another tactic of the mom to get him back. By making this a public issue I think the mom is making a desperate attempt to get Eddy back. I am on Eddy’s side as we don’t know the whole story. We don’t what went on both sides. ust because they were engaged does not give her a right to get pregnant when she knew full well he did not want a child.
