Hillary Clinton: Family Controversy

Political reporter Ronda Kaysen: Is it OK to use children in political ads about war?

Hillary Clinton's TV ad dubbed "Children" aired in a last-ditch effort to sway voters before the March 4 Texas and Ohio primaries.

The ad harks back to Lyndon Johnson's infamous 1964 "Daisy Ad" of an angelic girl plucking a daisy and watching a mushroom cloud burst. The parallels have not gone unnoticed in the Obama camp.

Barack fired back. "The question is not about picking up the phone," he said. "The question is: What kind of judgment will you make when you answer?"

The folks in Hillaryland insist their ad is not nearly as dark as L.B.J.'s Daisy spot because "Children" is a "positive ad" that uses "very soft images." Check it out and tell us what you think.

I saw the ad and it’s not so soft. The ad is definitely a scare tactic.

I saw both ads as well. Hillary’s ad is not a scare tactic at all. The ad post a real question. I want experience to answer the phone in a time of crisis. Funny how the Obama campaign continues to use what Hillary has already stated. Can his campaign ever come up with something that has substance and original? Notice how they use part of Hillary’s ad. Look at the instability of the nations around the world. We need someone who has a relationship with world leaders not someone who needs to get to know them at a time of crisis.
