Following her nasty divorce from Charlie Sheen, actress Denise Richards wants her name legally changed back.
First, she got the Charlie tattoo removed. And now, according to TMZ, actress Denise Richards (who legally changed her name to Denise Sheen but didn't use that name publicly) has just filed papers to get her old name back following her divorce from the Two and a Half Men star.
Do you think a Mom should legally change her name back after she gets divorced, or should she keep the name for the sake of the kids?

I think it is good to hypenate the names.

YES Single MOMS should retrieve their maiden name IF THEY WANT ….Identity crisis occurs post divorce. Returning to saying your name aloud, signing your name, and “being known as” as is required in Life are steps in reclaiming self identity.

She should do what she wants to for HER sake.

If it makes you happy to change your name do it.

I didn’t change my name when I got married. Yes, it causes a little confusion when you don’t have the same last name as your kid, but so what? To those naysayers, I say: deal with it, people, it’s two thousand freaking eight. Go, Denise! (even though I think she is kinda creepy really)

I think changing your name back is a wonderful idea. If I was to get divorced I think I would change mine back. If it would be a problem with the kids, I’d have their names hyphenated. I think it’s important to like who you are, to be a good mom. Good for her.
