Mom•Logic fashion and beauty expert Mary Alice Haney reviews Twirls and Twigs eco-friendly clothing line.

Twirls and Twigs is an adorable line that uses organic products like soybean and organic cotton to create their clothes and blankets. I was 'green" with envy that they didn't make a sundress in my size. The nature motifs are so hot on the runway and have never looked so playful.

Check out these three eco-friendly new Mommy must-haves:

1. Recycled cotton baby blanket: This is a virgin product made from recycled cotton. By recycling cotton it is estimated that over five billion pounds of waste is saved from going into the landfill.

2. Organic cotton onesie: This Moise the Mouse onesie is made with eco-friendly water-based print.

3. Eco-friendly burp cloths: These are also made with recycled cotton and Eco friendly water based paint. Not only can you go green Mom, but now so can your little one.

Namelynewborns searches for unique handmade baby quilts. On a trip to Southeast Asia in March I discovered a not for profit group that teaches South Asian women to quilt so that they have money for the families. The quilts are bright , beautifully hand quilted and appliqed ABC quilts. They make great baby gifts and wall hangings. We donate 25 % of our profits to children’s charities and the distributor provides women in Asia with an income. What a great difference a purchase will make in their lives.
