College women murdered: Police are searching for the gunmen who killed Auburn University freshman Lauren Burk and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill student body president Eve Carson in two separate incidents. Police are currently investigating a possible connection.

Moms in India offered incentive to birth baby girls: India's government is offering financial incentives to parents to stop the increasing number of abortions of unborn girls. It is estimated that 10 million Indian girls were aborted during the past two decades.
