Obama wins big in Mississippi: Senator Obama widened his lead over Hillary Clinton after a sizeable victory in the Mississippi primary yesterday. Meanwhile, Obama dismissed comments by Clinton supporter and former vice presidential nominee, Geraldine Ferraro, who said "if Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept." It's going to be a bumpy road to the convention.

10-year-old boy escapes rabid mountain lion: An Arizona boy managed to stay calm while being attacked by a mountain lion, suffering only minor scratches. Paul John Schalow was celebrating his 10th birthday with family in a national forest near Phoenix, when the rabid animal came up to him and stared him down. The mountain lion was shot to death, and Schalow will undergo a series of rabies shots.
