Recession fears have hit retail stores like Ann Taylor, which are drastically reducing prices in hopes shoppers will rush back in and buy. According to the New York Daily News, several stores like KB Toys, Wilson Leather and Circuit City are also facing troubling times and may have to close their doors because they can't compete with major outlets like Wal-Mart.

But bad news for these stores sounds like good news for Moms who need a cute skirt, leather jacket or a new portable DVD player for the car. A little pre-spring sale shopping where you'll save money and help retailers get back on their feet...sounds like a win-win! Have your shopping habits dropped drastically?
